I’ve spent my career living and breathing retail and I want to channel this knowledge to help brands grow & succeed.
I have worked for some amazing UK retailers. From large established household names, House of Fraser and M&S, to fashion icons River Island and Topshop/Topman, as well as inspiring start-ups and smaller niche brands.I have worked across a broad spectrum of roles and disciplines, giving me a unique perspective on brand and business building both domestically and on the international markets.
I had the privilege to work with some incredibly talented retailers, many of whom I now consider to be great friends.
The choice of “Elsarj’ holds significant personal inspiration for me, stemming from two remarkable women born over a century ago — Elsie in 1912 and Marj in 1919. These extraordinary individuals happen to be my maternal and paternal grandmothers.
Elsie, a skilled seamstress and milliner, brought her artistry to the world of fashion. Meanwhile, Marj crafted lingerie for Berlie, showcasing her expertise in a distinct niche.
Their profound influence from an early age, sparked a deep-seated dedication for fashion and retail within me. The name “Elsarj” pays homage to these two inspiring women who played pivotal roles in shaping my love affair with the world of style and commerce.
